We’re thrilled to announce Europamente’s participation in the exciting new European project, Voices of Change (VOC)! Alongside Roma Tre University and Tia Formazione Internazionale Aps, we’re working to empower young girls with migrant backgrounds, helping them actively engage in shaping women’s policies across Europe.
But what is Voices of Change all about, and why is it so important?
In Europe, migrant girls often face unique challenges when it comes to civic engagement and influencing policy. The Voices of Change project is all about changing that! By fostering a collaborative environment where young women—both migrants and locals—can come together, VOC gives these girls the tools and confidence to shape the future of women’s policies at both local and European levels.
At the heart of VOC is the creation of a European Consultative Body specifically designed to promote civic engagement for young migrant girls. This platform will allow them to reflect, debate, and connect with policy-making processes, ensuring their voices are heard and their ideas are put into action.
The project will involve 84 young women from more than 15 countries across Europe. While connecting migrant and local girls, Voices of Change ensures a diverse and inclusive perspective on women’s issues, creating a rich space for dialogue and empowerment.
Over the next 20 months, Voices of Change will embark on a transformative journey with 21 partners from across Europe.
