The Voices of Change (VOC) project is a European initiative aimed at empowering young migrant girls by promoting their active participation in policy-making processes across Europe. Through a combination of reflection, debate, and hands-on engagement, the project seeks to bridge the gap between young women with migrant backgrounds and the European policymaking sphere.

The primary objective of VOC is to establish a European Consultative Body that fosters the civic engagement of young migrant girls. By creating a collaborative platform, the project enables young women to work together with local European girls to:

  • Engage in critical debates on women’s policies.
  • Draft grassroots policy recommendations for local authorities and European Union decision-makers.
  • Emphasize the role of intersectionality in shaping inclusive and effective women’s policies.

The project will involve 84 girls from more than 15 countries, including both migrants and locals, with a focus on fostering collaboration, inclusion, and active participation in the democratic process.
