Graduated in History and with a Master’s Degree in Global Governance and Ethics from UCL; further specialised in conflict resolution (UNITAR) and reintegration of children associated with armed forces and armed groups (FBA and BIPC).
After extensive experience in social development programmes, she is now mostly engaged in human rights, justice and security and women’s rights initiatives in Latin America, where she first met Serena and Michele, the Caribbeans and Sub-Saharan Africa.
She is professor of History of Organised Crime at the IES Abroad Institute in Rome and actively engages in public debates and dialogues on justice and security policies at EU level.
Chiara is co-founder of Europamente ETS, for which she promotes social inclusion and women’s rights initiatives and supports the establishment of networks with other social and cultural associations and enterprises in the territory of Rome.
