Serena Bernardini

Graduated in International Cooperation and Development, with a specialization in International Relations, Serena holds a master’s degree in Juvenile Criminal Mediation and an LL.M. in Transnational Crime and Justice from UPEACE University. Passionate about human rights protection and social justice promotion, she has over six years of diverse experience in international cooperation.

Her work includes both field assignments—primarily in Latin America (Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia), South Africa, and Bosnia Herzegovina—and roles at headquarters, allowing her to address global challenges from strategic and operational perspectives. Serena’s experience spans NGOs, UN agencies, and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the sector.

She is the Legal Representative and President of EuropaMente ETS, where she leads initiatives to promote European values, youth empowerment, and international collaboration. Additionally, she has experience as a trainer in European project management courses, equipping professionals with the tools to navigate international funding and innovation programs.

Serena’s dedication lies in creating meaningful impact through her expertise in project management, grant writing, and advocacy for social and global justice.
